Preventive Care
- Oral Hygiene/Cleanings - We'd like to see you every six months for this important service! We've got four wonderful dental hygienists on staff who will make sure that your cleanings are thorough and comfortable.
- Fluoride Treatments - Children under 14 can benefit from fluoride treatments. Ask us whether your children are candidates for this service.
- Sealants - Dental sealants protect teeth against decay-causing bacteria. The sealants are usually applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth where decay occurs most often. Sealants are most often used on patients under 14 but older patients may benefit from this service, too.
- Regular checkups - Our dentist does a visual examination of your teeth and uses the latest in digital x-rays to look for any hidden areas of concern before they become a problem. We recommend checkups twice a year starting at age 3.
Restorative Care
- Amalgam and composite restorations - Fillings for treatment of cavities. Amalgam alloys are metal-colored while composite materials are tooth-colored.
- Space maintainers - Plastic or metal retainers that keep used when baby teeth are lost prematurely. They can prevent crowding or unwanted movement. Space maintainers are not required in all cases of premature loss of baby teeth. Your dentist will let you know if your child can benefit from a maintainer.
- Inlays, onlays, and crowns - Made of ceramic, gold, or composite materials, these are restorations that cover larger areas of a damaged or decayed tooth.
Oral Surgery, Endodontics & Periodontics
- Simple extractions
- Root Canal Treatment - A treatment used to save a tooth that would otherwise have to be removed.
- Root Planing - Cleaning with the use of anesthesia to eliminate areas of infection and produce healthy tissue.
Prosthodontics
- Bridges - A fixed appliance that replaces missing teeth.
- Dentures - A removable set of artificial teeth, either complete or partial.
- Implants - A permanent replacement for a missing tooth.
Other services
- Second Opinions - Yes! We highly recommend second opinions when it comes to your dental care. You are in charge of your treatment and it's important that you research the options so that you can make an informed decision. When proposing complex treatments to our patients, we will recommend that they seek a second opinion from another provider. We also provide second opinions and will happily discuss your case with you at no cost.
- Cosmetic Dentistry - For the smile you've always wanted, we offer Lumineers. Cosmetic dentistry encompasses reshaping your teeth, veneers, bonding, natural-colored fillings and bleaching.
- Athletic Mouthguards - We provide state of the art custom made athletic mouthguards for all patients requiring protection during athletic competition in "at risk" sports. Store bought over the counter mouthguards do not fit as well nor do they provide the anticipated and necessary protection to help prevent dental/facial injuries. The only mouthguard that should be worn is that made from a model of the mouth. Patients have individual requirements for fit, comfort, level of competition, and compliance. The professionally designed custom made mouthguard satisfies these requirements.
